Puteaux, 11 September 2017 – Digital Dimension a subsidiary of Econocom specialising in accelerating the digital transformation  of organisations, is teaming up with Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source, enterprise IT solutions. By hosting Red Hat’s Mobile Application Platform at its datacentres in France and building its services onto it, Digital Dimension is addressing the security and industrialisation issues facing large companies.

As the number of mobile applications in the enterprise grows, CIOs have to reinvent themselves to support digital innovation and meet increasing development needs. Providing business lines with ready-to-use solutions which simplify the technical aspect of development and harmonize user experience of applications is becoming essential.

Red Hat Mobile Application Platform provides an open, agile and collaborative approach to developing, integrating and deploying mobile applications. This enables companies to industrialize their development, both internally and externally, to accelerate their deployments while addressing their compliance needs in terms of security and scalability.

With this association, Digital Dimension will enhance its MCoE (Mobile Center of Excellence) offering and allow CIOs to supply business lines with a favourable framework for their initiatives. Digital Dimension will provide Red Hat in Platform-as-a-Service mode hosted in France, via its subsidiary ASP Serveur, thus enabling French companies to address the growing issues surrounding data security, which makes it stand out from other market players. Code audits, support for developers and handling development: the services it deploys in conjunction with the Red Hat solutions will guarantee business lines autonomy and efficiency.

Charles Gresset, DMS-Norcod Managing Director with Digital Dimension, said: “Provided as a turnkey solution, Red Hat’s Mobile Application Platform is a genuinely competitive driver for innovation for our clients, ensuring that their applications are scalable and provide an optimal UX. The feedback from the initial projects is extremely promising. We are looking at other opportunities to work with Red Hat, including in Spain, where Digital Dimension is already present on the market via our two subsidiaries, Nexica et Gigigo, which specialise in the cloud and mobility.”

Carine Braun-Héneault, France-Iberia Regional Director with Red Hat, meanwhile, stated: “We are pleased to work with Digital Dimension and are convinced that the services provided, and the fact it’s hosted in France will supply companies with even more significant gains in terms of security, agility and best practices.”
