Puteaux, 22 June 2017 – Digital Dimension, a subsidiary of Econocom specialising in accelerating the digital transformation of organisations, and Lookout, the leading provider of predictive mobile security for iOS and Android environments, have signed a partnership. By adding Lookout to its turnkey offering, Digital Dimension will allow companies to assess their mobile risk exposure and offer effective security solutions for devices, applications and connections.
Companies’ data is under increasing threat, as the recent Wannacry ransomware outbreak showed. Whilst PCs are now the target of choice for cyber-criminals, mobile devices are also a source of growing concern. With mobile devices becoming ubiquitous in the workplace and professional practices more and more aligned with personal use, companies can no longer ignore the increasing risk of mobile security. The answer is complex and requires implementing new solutions tailored to the specific architecture of mobile OS.
Lookout’s technology is based on a cloud infrastructure powered by a global network of more than 100 million sensors and virtually all the mobile code in the world. With this intelligence on the mobile threat landscape, Lookout conducts complex correlations and predicts future risk, identifying threats that would otherwise evade legacy systems.
This partnership will enable Digital Dimension to expand its MCoE (Mobile Center of Excellence) offering, and thus enable businesses to protect their most precious asset thanks to a turnkey offering combining risk assessment, real-time analysis and remediation. Digital Dimension offers mobile security audits, deployment and administration of Lookout’s technology incorporated into its clients’ EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) solution, and advice on compliance and remediation best practices.
Charles Gresset, Managing Director DMS-Norcod at Digital Dimension, said: “Like Lookout, we want companies to be able to enjoy the full potential of digital. But this isn’t possible without an effective solution to address security risks. By adding Lookout’s technology to our mobile security offering, we’ll enable our clients to handle major risks, which have been constantly on the increase in recent years.”
Jamie Andrews, EMEA Partner Director for Lookout, added: “Digital Dimension is known for its solid known-how and extensive experience in enterprise mobility. By adding Lookout to its portfolio, Digital Dimension has once again expanded its mobile security expertise. This partnership with Digital Dimension is essential for helping businesses cope with the growing security risk associated with the proliferation of mobile devices in the workplace.”
